Kamloops - Canada

On the way back from our Rockie Mountains road trip we spent a day and night in Kamloops. It was high water with flooding which is why we already had to skip an overnight stay by a lake short before reaching the city as the way to get there was under water. Still, we found a dry spot and spend an afternoon and a couple of hours the next day before continuing our drive south.

A friend of mine actually stayed in Kamloops for the winter as a seasonal worker in a ski resort. That how I know that it's supposed to be quite nice in winter too while not as busy as other skiing areas like in Banff or Whistler.
