Ottawa - Canada
The capital of Canada and as I learned it got chosen strategically because it didn't border with the USA and also marks the line between the English and French speaking part. I started in the French speaking part because I knew I would work there without speaking French and thus wanted to travel from east to west to find a job. Preferably I'd like to settle at the west coast, since I miss living by the sea. But if I enjoy some place on the way plans could always change 😉 As people told me in Ottawa most of the citizens are either in politics or administration, hospitality or student's. I'm non of those so I decided to just spend 2,5 days there. Still, I really enjoyed my stay and wished to have a couple of days more. The hostel was really great (Ottawa Backpackers Inn) and each night we sat on the bench together and had nice talks. The people you are surrounded with can really shape how you like a place :) But here you go with my impressions.

Took a ton of pictures from it. It went on for 30 minutes and summarizes the Canadian history and I really loved it.
