I have been to Munich due to commuting but also two times to visit friends. Munich is the biggest city in the south and so clean it flashes me each time especially compared to Berlin. It is beautiful to do some sightseeing in this city. Here are some of my impressions:

Sightseeing

Oktoberfest

As you might all know it is also well known for its Oktoberfestthat happens once a year at the end of September and beginning of October. Itis a traditional celebration with lots of beer, traditional food and most ofthe people get dressed in traditional outfits. Girls come in a dress calleddirndl and guys wear leather trousers. I visited Munich once for the Oktoberfestand it was really crowded but we had a lot of fun at the same time.
